About The Program
The ServSafe Food Safety Training Program leads the way in providing current and comprehensive educational materials to the restaurant industry. More than 4 million foodservice professionals have been certified through the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP). ServSafe training and certification is recognized by more federal, state and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification.
Get Your Servsafe® Certifications
At the end of the 8 hour class you will be required to take a 90 question, multiple choice test. A 75% percent score is required to pass the test. The certification is valid for 5 years but in some jurisdications you need to re-certify every 3 years. If you take a printed test the results will be provided to you in 1 week and the certificate can take up to 2 weeks to arrive from Servsafe and up to 5 weeks to arrive from the City of Chicago. You will be provided with a certified letter from your instructor with your passing score until your certificates arrive.
